The AI Fellowship (theaifellowship.com) is a curated, global community for people building, applying, and thinking critically about artificial intelligence. We exist as a phygital community — part digital forum, part in-person chapter network — held together by the values: Authentic. Human. Connected.
These Terms of Service govern your membership in The AI Fellowship. They're written to be read, not archived. If something is unclear, reach out at hello@theaifellowship.com.
The AI Fellowship is a curated community, not an open platform. Membership is by application only. We reserve the right to decline or revoke membership at our discretion, though we will always try to do so fairly and with a reason.
To join, you authenticate through LinkedIn OAuth. By doing so, you authorise us to receive your name, email address, LinkedIn profile URL, and public profile photo from LinkedIn. We use these only to create and manage your Fellowship membership — nothing else.
You must be at least 16 years old to be a member. Membership is personal and non-transferable.
If you were part of our original WhatsApp community, you can claim the Founding Member badge from your profile. We verify by sending a one-time code to your WhatsApp number and matching it against our community roster. See the Privacy Policy for how that data is handled.
As an active member, your first name, last name, profile photo, city, country, and bio will appear in our public member directory at theaifellowship.com/profile. Your email, phone, and other personal identifiers are never shown. If you prefer not to appear, email us and we'll remove you. Full details in the Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for your account. Keep your contact details accurate. If you believe your account has been compromised, let us know immediately at hello@theaifellowship.com.
We use LinkedIn OAuth for authentication. We never see or store your LinkedIn password — LinkedIn handles sign-in and tells us only your name, email, and profile photo.
As a member, you can participate across our community platforms:
These are spaces for genuine exchange. We expect members to engage in good faith across all platforms.
This community runs on trust. We ask you to:
Moderation decisions rest with The AI Fellowship team. Serious or repeated violations may result in suspension or permanent removal. We will generally tell you why.
If your account is suspended, your dashboard login is disabled, your Discord roles are removed (you remain in the server but only see public channels), and your forum account is suspended. Your underlying profile data is preserved while suspended so an admin can later restore it; if you want your data deleted, email us and we will action that under the Privacy Policy.
When you post on the forum, share in Discord, WhatsApp, or submit content associated with The AI Fellowship, you retain ownership of what you create.
By posting, you grant The AI Fellowship a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, distribute, and archive that content within Fellowship spaces. We will not sell your content or use it in paid advertising without your explicit consent.
You are responsible for what you post. Do not post content that infringes third-party intellectual property, violates anyone's privacy, or is otherwise unlawful.
If you upload a profile photo, you confirm you have the right to use and share it. For chapter event photos: if The AI Fellowship or a chapter organiser photographs an event, attendees may be visible. We will notify attendees in advance. If you appear in a photo and want it removed, contact us at hello@theaifellowship.com and we will handle it promptly.
There are no fees, subscriptions, or payments of any kind. The AI Fellowship is a free community. This may change in the future — if it does, existing members will be informed well in advance and any paid features will be clearly optional.
We do our best to keep Fellowship platforms running reliably, but we make no guarantees of uninterrupted availability. We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify members by email before the change takes effect.
If you disagree with any changes, you can close your account. See the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data when you do.
The AI Fellowship is operated personally, not as an incorporated entity. We provide this community in good faith, without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for content posted by other members, any losses arising from your use of Fellowship spaces, or third-party services (LinkedIn, Discord, WhatsApp, etc.) that we do not control.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our own negligence where applicable law prohibits such limitation.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will first be addressed through direct contact at hello@theaifellowship.com.
