About this project
Patiently AI is an AI-powered health communication app that turns complex medical language into clear, personalised explanations. Patients can simplify clinical notes, discharge letters, and medical jargon into language that matches their preferred reading level, tone, and language, helping them better understand their care. Built with privacy in mind, Patiently AI removes personal identifiers before processing and is designed to support understanding, not replace medical advice. I’m building Patiently AI because too many people leave healthcare appointments confused. After 20+ years in medical communications, I’ve seen how difficult medical language can be for patients. My goal is simple: use AI to bridge the gap between clinicians and patients through translation, not interpretation so people feel more informed, confident, and in control of their health.
